Our History – Our Future
The WU Executive Academy, the business school of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) brings more than 100 years of experience and an excellent reputation to the field of executive education. Thus it belongs to the leading business universities worldwide. The executive education portfolio of the WU Executive Academy includes MBA programs, LL.M. programs, Master of Science (CE) programs, a Bachelor’s of Science (CE) program, a certificate program in business administration (DBW), part-time certificate programs, and continuing education,and custom programs. In recent years, the WU Executive Academy has become one of the leading providers in Europe.
As part of WU, the WU Executive Academy is AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accredited. EQUIS is an internationally recognized accreditation system offered by the European Foundation of Management. Moreover, the outstanding quality of its MBA programs has been recognized by AMBA (Association of MBAs) awarding its renowned global accreditation. Apart from WU, only approximately 100 universities and business schools around the globe meet the strict quality standards of all three accreditation agencies.
Each year, more than 2,200 managers, experts and high potentials from over 85 countries study in our executive education programs. At present, residencies and programs are conducted in more than 15 countries on 4 continents.
What started in the 1940s with the first certificate programs, carries us into the future:
