In some of our programs, we also use online teaching as a delivery format. In this case, all students and faculty are connected remotely through tools like Zoom. As with on campus, as well as hybrid teaching, online teaching has its own technical and didactic requirements.

Videoconferencing, Webinars, or Online Office Hours – Zoom

All employees and students at WU have access to the videoconferencing tool Zoom via their WU account. With Zoom, you can have online meetings and teach via webinars, including live audio and video feeds.

Setup and controls:

Before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app from the Download Center
Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a join link.

How to login:

1. Open your Zoom client, click on sign in and go to sign in with SSO:

2. Enter wu-ac-at in the input field like in the picture below:

3. Please enter your WU Username and Password:

How to create a more dynamic experience in Zoom presentations

You can use the zoom feature Powerpoint as virtual background to make your presentation deliveries more dynamic.
