If you come from abroad, the WU Executive Academy will of course take care of your travelling and accommodation arrangements.

For this matter, please contact the Program Management and indicate your favored date and time of arrival/departure. We will take care of all necessary arrangements and inform you immediately as soon as tickets and hotel rooms are ready to be booked.
If there are any specific requests, please also inform the Program Management, as we always seek to make reservations according to your requirements.

• Airplane tickets are booked in Economy Class by default and are covered by the WU Executive Academy.
• We also arrange a taxi driver to pick you up at Vienna International Airport and take you directly to your hotel or the location of your lecture.

Please note: all reservations for arrival and accommodation are done by the Executive Academy only. If you plan to make your own travel arrangements, please know that travel expenses also count as income according to Austrian tax regulations. In case of refunding travelling expenses, your reimbursement will therefore be deducted with 20% tax.

Austrian Visa:
Professors with US citizenship and most other countries are exempted from any visa regulations. If necessary, an invitation for a teaching assignment in Vienna will be sent to you. Please contact the program manager, if you have questions on your visa status.

As part of your teaching assignment, you will be accommodated in a hotel. Standard accommodation (including breakfast, but excluding telephone and other personal items) is included in your assignment and paid for by the WU Executive Academy. Of course, we will make sure that your hotel is close to the classroom and well connected to public transport. Again, the programme manager and the travel team will take care of your accommodation arrangements. If you have any special preferences or requests, please let us know at least 4 weeks before your departure.
