Master’s Thesis<\/h1>\n
As part of the degree requirements, students have to write a Master’s Thesis.<\/p>\n

- The Master’s thesis is a paper which is bridging theory and practice. While academic standards need to be adhered to, the focus is more on the managerial than the academic relevance of the overall work.<\/li>\n
- The thesis has to be written in English and can be done individually or in groups of two.<\/li>\n
- Other languages than English require the approval of the Academic Director.<\/li>\n
- Generally, an in-depth analysis of 55-60 pages of text per author (excluding appendix) is expected.<\/li>\n
- Students have to go through an online course on “How to write a Master’s Thesis” to be well-prepared for academic work<\/li>\n
- Students are free to suggest their own topic for the Master’s Thesis.<\/li>\n
- Students and supervisors should discuss the form and extent of the supervision and agree upon an interaction form that supports both a smooth writing and mentoring process.<\/li>\n
- When a student has decided on a certain topic for the Master Thesis, he\/she will hand in a short concept (content: title, intention, structure, schedule, preferred supervisor) which the Academic

The same rules apply also to the Master’s Thesis; please highlight to the student how you are handling AI in the MT supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

We encourage every faculty member to supervise one or more Master’s Theses. Supervising a Master’s Thesis is rewarded with an extra fee, but cannot be passed on to subcoordinators (such as assistants, PhD students etc.).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
